How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community.
Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church!

life_groupsLife Groups (Small Groups)

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in member homes or at church to “do life together”. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve people, and we have various life groups consisting of Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Families, Singles, Couples, and Generational.

Sunday Morning Classes (10am to 10:45am)

This is a fabulous way to meet new friends and begin to feel more connected to the life of the church.  We have classes for all ages and stages of life.  You can check out any class at any time and no one expects you to know the Bible inside and out.  In every class, the focus is on learning what it means to be a Christian, and encouraging one another to live it out in a way that builds up individuals, families, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
We have 6 to 8 Sunday morning classes for adults.
Each group has its own personality and style.
We have classes for people
in their 20’s,
30’s and 40’s,
50’s and 60’s,
and 70’s+.

pray-for-kidsChildren’s and Teen Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children and teens get to participate in their own Sunday School classes at 10am. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained.
The Teen Ministry also meets on Sunday nights from 5 to 7pm to play games, worship, hear a message from God’s Word, talk about it in small groups, then end with snacks and free time talking or games.

Women’s Groups (United Methodist Women)

Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. We have 3 different Women’s Groups.  At this time, all 3 groups meet together once per month on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the church for fellowship, a short program, and snacks.  You could meet the ladies and find out which group that you might fit in with.
These Women’s groups also help to serve meals for Rotary on Tuesdays at noon.  They take turns making the meal, then they deliver extra meals to shut-ins within our church.  The profit that they receive from making and serving these meals helps to fund many of their mission projects throughout the year!

mensministrypointtoMen’s Ministry

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages.
First, we have a Men’s group that meets to study the Bible, pray for each other, and to do accountability on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Room 100.
Second, we have a Men’s group who meets on Tuesday nights to play basketball (3v3) at the Teen Center from 6:30 to 8:30pm.  They strive to take 15 min break to do a short devotional and pray for each other around 7:30pm.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. The church gives married couples the opportunity to join in small groups together, take date nights together, and provide retreats to help your marriage.
