Pick up your fundraising packets to raise money for World Vision! This is our chance to go 30 hours without food in order to raise money for kids around the world who need more food to live! You can pick up your packet in the church office or from Micah at church or youth meetings.
No cost to attend! Yet, a School Year Medical Form is needed to particpate. Download a copy of the Medical Form here!
We suggest you raise at least $60 in donations (will feed 1 child for 2 months). If you raise at least $30 and participate in the event, you will get a free T-shirt.
World Vision gives prizes for raising different amounts of $ through their fundraising packets.
You don’t have to participate in the famine in order to raise $.
For the 5th year at the Famine, we will have a High School and a Middle School tracts for activities, then we will have united worship and video times.
We will have our “Break the Fast” meal at 5pm on Sunday where families are invited to join their teens for the meal and a short program done by 6pm!
In 2011, We had 34 teens gather for the 30 Hour Famine!
Together, we raised over $1,300 for World Vision to help feed kids around the world who don't have food.
Tribes games taught us about the country of Haiti and its shock and recovery from a major earthquake.
